Au Pair Mallorca offers, as an extra and new service for its candidates, to send you pictures from your future room and the outside of your host family's house. Moreover, we will send you a map showing the location of the house. If you or your parents are interested in this service, which is not for free, state so in your application. 

At Au Pair Mallorca, S.L. we provide two types of service, depending on the need of the host family, being Au Pair and Au Pair PLUS.

Au Pair and Au Pair Plus
Au pairs have to respect the authority in the house; this is the parents, and need to adapt to the customs and internal rules of the family. The working hours per week are usually 30 plus babysitting, and at least one complete day has to be given free; usually Sundays (at least once per month).
If the family needs the au pair to work more than this, the service is called au pair plus, and it is obviously economically compensated.

The normal tasks for an au pair and au pair plus are divided between the house and the children.

At home: making children beds, tidy rooms (children and yours) and bathrooms up, ironing, washing, tidying the kitchen, vacuum and dusting etc BUT ALWAYS ONLY your own room and that of the children.

With children: helping them to dress, in the bath, playing and staying with them during your work time, helping them with homework and specially with learning a second language, taking them to school or kindergarden, going with them to the park, cooking for them and helping them to eat, and babysitting, when needed, twice per week.

In all cases these must be light tasks, NEVER those of a maid or a housekeeper. Nonetheless, Au Pairs have to bay the house rules set by the guest family. All task within the family should be discussed and agreed before you start your stay there.
